Hey guys,

Upon receiving time to work on things, the Censoring list has been reviewed, and the following words are no longer censored. This list assumes that the word was written in full (so asses123 would not have been censored).

- asses
- coon
- gay
- bastard

In addition, the following words will no longer be censored, in which any occurrence of the following words would have been censored (the word "sex" in homosexual would have been censored, while the remaining letters would not have been).

- sex
- bitch

Please do not abuse the newly-uncensored words, considering this environment is intended to be, at the very least, family-friendly.

We are going to be testing a new usergroup promotion in effort to combat spam. The old "Licensed Karters" group has now been renamed, "New Members." Should a New Member make at least five posts and receive at least one like (guaranteed if you post an intro topic, hint hint), you should be promoted to the Licensed Karters group. The "New Members" group is not allowed to, among other things, edit signatures, post status updates, and other key fields that have been abused. Please note that the promotion is not instant, and if you do lose these rights despite meeting the criteria, please be patient. We want this to be your forum and to weed out those who wish to abuse the system, and we apologize for any inconveniences. Feel free to ask any questions.

Hey guys,

Just so you know, I have been spending some of my week off doing some fixes here and there. I'd thought you might want to know, considering some of you complaining about us being inactive or the site in general. As much as I do care about this site, please realize this is not my full-time job; it is a hobby.

I am not just going to drop out of college to run a site of a game I enjoy.

That said, my week off has actually been fairly productive, both in terms of running this site and catching up on some studies. First of all, let me summarize the stuff that I have been working on.

- First of all, the country smilies are fixed. Any suggestions, please pop them in ASAP.
- Secondly, note that most of the notices have now been removed due to inactivity. Instead, I hope to use them as guidelines for you in order to post the right threads in the right places.
- Thirdly, the "Custom Modifications" forum has been removed. Further forum-related modifications will be coming in...
